Description

Langdon Manor Farm is a single house dating from the late 18th century. The west part of the house features stone walls that are rendered, with rusticated stone quoins and a stone dentil cornice. It has a slate roof with stone gable copings and includes a stone stack on the left and a rendered brick stack on the right gables. The building is two storeys high with attics and has three windows on the front. The ground floor has tripartite sash windows with glazing bars, while the upper floor has single sashes with glazing bars. There are slightly projecting keystones and stone cills. The former front door, located at the centre, has panelled reveals and a round head, with a door that has 12 glass panels and a round fanlight above.

The rear wing of the house includes the back of the main building, a farm office, and a farm cottage, constructed with the same materials and also two storeys high. This wing has a total of seven windows, featuring a mix of sashes and 20th-century three-light metal casements. The current front door in this wing is wooden, studded, and has an integral fanlight. There is a 20th-century square lantern with a lead cupola above the lights in the hall. Inside, there is a mid-chamfered ceiling beam in the rear of the west range, which has filleted stops and may be a reused element.
