Description

Northfield Farmhouse is an early 19th-century farmhouse constructed from dressed lias stone with a thatched roof featuring stone gable coping. It has a stone stack on the left side and a rendered brick stack on the right. The building is two storeys high and has three windows, which are three-light cast-iron casements with glazing bars, with the centre light being operable. The front door, located at the centre, is wooden and panelled, complete with top lights. There is a stone porch that has a gabled slate roof and gable coping. The farmhouse is arranged in an L-plan, with a rear service wing. At the back of the premises, there are three plank doors set in wooden frames.
