Description

Numbers 64 and 66 on The Green are two attached cottages dating from the 18th century. They feature lias rubble walls and a thatched roof, which has a gable end on the left side and is hipped on the right. There are renewed 20th-century brick stacks located at the left gable and on the ridge at the center of the roof. The cottages are one and a half storeys tall and have four windows, which are three-light wooden casements with wooden lintels and sills. There are half-dormers with two-light wooden casements, also from the 20th century. The front doors are made of planks with strap hinges, positioned at the left center and at the right end. An attached builder's cottage is nearby but is not listed.
