Description

Grey Cottage is a single cottage dating from around 1800. It features coursed lias stone walls and a slate roof with tile ridges. The cottage has three brick chimneys located at the gable end facing the street, at the ridge junction, and on the right-hand ridge. It is two storeys high and both the north and west sides have three windows. The north side has two- and three-light wooden casement windows with glazing bars and wooden sills, complemented by flush stone voussoirs. The west side has three-light windows with wooden frames and wood lintels above. The front door is located in the angle of the building; it is a plank door with a 20th-century canopy above.
