Description
Wadsley Hall Farmhouse, now a house, dates from the early 18th century, with alterations to the front facade made in the mid-20th century. It is constructed of squared dressed stone, with a rendered front, and has a stone slate roof with a single ridge stack and a single gable stack. The farmhouse has two storeys and a four-window front arrangement of three-light casement windows. The building follows a three-unit plan. On the right-hand side is a close-boarded door with an overlight, flanked by single three-light casement windows. To the left is a three-light casement and a close-boarded door. All these windows have shutters. Further to the left is a lean-to stable with two close-boarded doors. The rear elevation features four small casement windows; three on the left were formerly mullioned. Below these are a three-light mullioned window and three small casements to its right. To the right again is a close-boarded passage door. The interior has not been inspected.
