Description
West Lodge at Hillsborough Park is a lodge that has been converted into a house, dating from around 1830. It is constructed of ashlar stone with ashlar dressings and features a stone slate roof with a coped rear wall stack. The building has a plinth, a first-floor band, and a single coped gable. It stands two storeys high and has a three-window range. The windows are 2-light wooden casements. The central section projects and has a pediment, featuring a single window flanked by similar windows. Below this, there is a pilastered stone doorcase with a cornice, leading to a door with an overlight. To the right, there is a single window, and to the left, a canted stone bay window with a 2-light casement. The interior has not been inspected. This lodge is one of the ancillary buildings associated with Hillsborough Hall.
