Description
Lamb Close Lodge is a mid-19th century lodge that has been converted into a house. It is constructed from rockfaced ashlar and features a hipped plain tile roof. The building includes ashlar dressings, a plinth, projecting quoins, and blocked architraves, with boxed eaves and two ridge stacks. The lodge is two storeys high and has three bays, following a T-plan layout.
The windows are plain casements with segmental heads, while those on the upper floor have round and flat heads. The east front showcases a projecting central hipped bay with a mullioned casement, a crested sill, and a bracketed cornice. To the left, there is a casement with a keystoned head, and to the right, a door with an overlight and a scrolled bracket supporting the hood. Above, there are two casements with half-round leaded hoods, and a smaller casement to the right.
At the rear, there is an off-centre projecting bay on the left, with a two-storey hipped wing to its right. The left side features two casements and a door, while above are two flat-headed casements flanked by single round-headed casements. The rear wing is accompanied by an adjoining single-storey hipped outbuilding.
