Description
Beauvale Abbey Farmhouse is a farmhouse that dates from the 16th, 17th, and 19th centuries. It was constructed using materials quarried from Beauvale Priory and features coursed and squared rubble, with some areas pebbledashed and tile hung. The roof is made of plain tiles and includes three gable stacks and one ridge stack. The building has two storeys and three unequal bays.
The east front has an off-centre door with a tile hood, flanked by single casements. To the right of the door, there is another door and two casements, with three casements located above. The rear elevation features two casements on the left and a projecting parallel rear range on the right, which has a casement on each floor, both with segmental heads. Above this range, to the left, there are three casements. The north gable has a small blocked opening and two small casements to the right, with two similar casements above. The double south gable is tile hung and features a casement.
