Description
No. 57 Dorchester Road is a former farmhouse, now used as offices, likely dating from the 18th century. The building features roughcast brick walls and a thatched roof, with brick stacks at each end. It has an L-shaped plan and stands two storeys tall. The front includes a timber gabled porch and a part-glazed door. On the ground floor, there is one double-hung sash window with glazing bars and one plain casement window. The first floor has three double-hung sash windows, all with glazing bars. At the rear, there is a two-storeyed wing made of brick, also with a thatched roof, along with a single-storey lean-to that has a thatched roof.
