Description

Nos 47 and 48 Dorchester Road are a pair of cottages, originally part of a terrace of three, likely built in the 18th century. The cottages feature roughcast cob walls and a hipped thatched roof, with brick stacks located on the ridge. They are positioned at right angles to the road and consist of one storey with an attic. The ground floor has two casement windows, while the attic includes three dormers, also with casements. Additionally, there are three rustic timber thatched porches with ledged doors. Currently, No 47 is used as a store.
