Description
No. 5 Swan Hill Court is a house, now used as offices, dating from the mid-18th century. It is constructed of brick and features a low-pitched roof that is not visible behind the parapet eaves. The building has three storeys and a four-window range, with an off-centre entrance. The entrance consists of a six-panelled door with an overlight, set beneath a heavy Doric porch supported by detached columns and featuring an entablature. The windows are 15-pane sashes with flat-arched brick heads, and there is a moulded string course above the first-floor windows. Gable end stacks are present.
Inside, the building retains its original staircase, which has a panelled dado and turned balusters. To the right of the house is a stable extension from the early 19th century, also built of brick with a slate roof, featuring a doorway and a sash window with a blocked lunette above.
