Single cottage. c.C18. Lias rubble walls, roughly coursed; large stone quoins. Slate roof at left hand bay. Thatch roof, remainder, with gable ends. 3 brick stacks, at far left gable, inner thatch left gable, right gable end. Lane elevation. 2 storeys. 4 windows, 2 light wooden casements with glazing bars. Wooden cills. Front door in south gable wall, C20, wooden with 8 glass panels. Hipped thatch porch canopy over, supported on 2 wooden posts. Attached stone rubble walls, 7 yards north and 10 yards south, making a continuous stone frontage to the lane. "RCHM, Dorset I", p 96 (14).
