Description
Midlands Farm and Chervil Cottage are two attached cottages dating from the early 19th century. They feature coursed Lias stone walls and a slate roof, which has a gable end on one side and is hipped on the other. There are three brick stacks: one at the left gable, one at the center of the ridge, and one at the right near the hip apex. The cottages are two storeys tall and have six windows, which are renewed two-light wood casements with glazing bars. The left side has concrete lintels, while the right side has wooden lintels. The front doors include a 20th-century plank door with glass lights for Midlands, located left of center, and a wide plank door for Chervil, located right of center. The front area is enclosed by cast iron railings from the 19th century, featuring points with urns at the main divisions.
