Description
The Clock House Hotel is a hotel located in Chideock, dating from the late 17th century with a refacing from the 18th century. It features stone walls that are rendered, and a thatched roof with gable ends and block ridging. The stone gable copings are found at both the left and right gables, and there are brick stacks at each gable end. The building has two storeys and three windows on the ground floor, which are fitted with sashes and window shutters. The first floor has two-light wooden casements, also with shutters. The front door is situated to the right of centre and is made of wood, set within a rendered porch that has a half-hipped thatch roof. The door itself is a wooden studded design.
