Description

The Warren House is a single house dating from the 17th century, with alterations made in the 18th century, particularly to its windows. The building features walls made of Lias stone ashlar and has a steeply pitched thatch roof with stone gable copings. It stands two storeys high and has four windows, which are three-light wooden casements with glazing bars and wooden cills. The stone lintels and keys above the windows project on the right side. On the west gable wall, there are two small attic windows with labels above them, and lower down, there is a two-light mullion window from the 17th century, also labelled. The front door is located to the right of centre and is a 20th-century wooden door. A cast iron porch with open trellis-type supports and a concave hipped hood covers the entrance. Additionally, there are cast iron railings along the front sleeper wall.
