Description
Warren Cottage is a detached cottage dating from the 18th century. It is built of coursed ham stone rubble and features a thatched roof that is half-hipped at the north end and has a plain gable at the south end, along with a brick chimney stack at one end. The cottage has two storeys and consists of two bays. The windows are early pattern leaded casements, with a 2-light window above and a 3-light window in the lower bay 1. In lower bay 2, there is a 2-light horizontal-bar casement, with both lower windows set under timber lintels and fitted with clay tile cills. On the south gable, there is a lean-to porch providing access to the gable entry, which has a corrugated asbestos cement sheet roof and a 20th-century boarded door. Above the door, there is a small 2-light stairlight. The interior has not been seen.
