Description

This is a cottage dating from the 18th century, located to the south of and adjoining Trinity Cottage in East Chinnock. The building is constructed from cut and squared ham stone, with ashlar dressings, and features a hipped thatched roof and a brick chimney stack on the party wall. It is a single-storey structure with an attic and consists of two bays. The cottage has casement windows, with the lower bay 1 set in a former doorway. Lower bay 2 features a three-light window with an architraved and beaded stone surround, mullions, and an inserted casement, along with a moulded cill. The entrance door is now located in the south gable wall. This cottage has good group value with Trinity Cottage, which it is attached to on the north side.
