Description
Bridge Cottage is a single cottage that was formerly two attached cottages, dating from the 18th century, with some 20th-century alterations. The cottage features washed rubble-stone walls, with the wall set back at the right-hand end. It has a thatched roof with gable ends and a higher eaves line at the right-hand end. There are two brick stacks, one at the ridge on the party wall and the other at the right-hand gable. The building is 1 ½ to 2 storeys high and has four to five windows. The left end has 20th-century metal casements with two and four lights, complete with wooden sills. The right end features 20th-century wooden casements with lozenge leaded lights. The front door is a plank door located at the center of the right-hand part. At the rear, there are rubble-stone outshuts topped with a concrete Roman tile roof.
