SY8682 EAST LULWORTH EAST LULWORTH VILLAGE 16/135 No. 6 (Post Office) 7 and 8 GV II

Terrace of cottages. Probably C18. Plastered walls, thatched roofs, brick stacks. Two storeys. No. 6 (The Post Office) has ledged door and two modern shop windows with glazing bars. First floor has two horizontally sliding sash windows, one with glazing bars, one with lead lights. Extension to east, of similar construction, probably originally a barn. No. 7 has ledged door. Ground floor has three horizontally sliding sash windows with glazing bars. First floor has three similar windows, one with glazing bars and two with lead lights. No. 8 has a lean-to extension to west under thatched catslide roof. Ledged door with glass panel. Ground floor has one horizontally sliding sash window and one casement, both with glazing bars. First floor has two similar casement windows. Main ground floor room has large open fireplace. RCHM Monument 15.
