Description
This is a terrace of cottages located in East Lulworth, originating from the 17th century and later enlarged and subdivided in the 18th and 19th centuries. There is an attached barn to the north-east. The cottages feature roughcast walls, thatched roofs, and brick stacks. They are one storey high with attics.
At the rear of No. 15, there is a single-storey wing built in a similar style. No. 14 has brick end stacks, one of which is shared with No. 15. It has a ledged door and the ground floor includes two horizontally sliding sash windows with glazing bars. The attic features a long dormer with three horizontally sliding sash windows, two of which retain remnants of lead lights.
Nos. 15 and 16, which were originally one house, also have brick end stacks, one shared with No. 14. They have a ledged door, and the ground floor contains one horizontally sliding sash window and two casements, all with glazing bars. The attic has two dormers with horizontally sliding sashes that include glazing bars. There is a door to No. 16 at the rear, and some exposed ceiling beams can be seen inside.
