Description

No. 9 is a detached cottage, likely built in the 18th century. The walls are part plastered and part rubble stone, with some repairs made in brick, all of which is colourwashed. The cottage features a thatched hipped roof and brick stacks. It has one storey and attics. The entrance includes a ledged door with a glass panel. On the ground floor, there are three horizontally sliding sash windows with glazing bars. The attic contains four dormers: two have casements with remnants of lead lights, while the other two have horizontally sliding sashes with glazing bars. The section at the east end is probably a former barn.
