Description
This 18th-century cow stall, located 10 metres south west of Shedbush Farmhouse, features rubble walls with brick quoins and a thatched roof that is half-hipped at both ends. The building has a rectangular plan and includes a wide plank door on the south gable end, specifically designed for the cow stall. There is a window opening on the east wall with a segmental head. Stone steps lead up to a loft door on the north wall, which also has brick quoins and flagstone treads. The loft door is a plank design with strap hinges and a segmental head above it.
