Description
St Gabriel's Cottage is a small, detached cottage dating from the early 18th century. It features rubble stone walls and a thatched roof, which is hipped on the left side and gabled on the right. There is a 20th-century brick chimney stack on the right gable. The front wall has been washed, while the left gable wall is supported by three buttresses. The cottage has one and a half storeys and typically has two to three windows, which are two-light wooden casements with glazing bars. The front door, located at the center, is a plank door with a wooden frame and lintel. At the right end, there is a 20th-century extension with a pentice asbestos slate roof, which is one storey high and has one window.
