Description

Tillings Cottage is a detached cottage dating from the early 18th century. It features rubble-stone walls, which are partly rendered and bricked at the front. The roof is thatched, with a gable end on the left side and a half-hipped design on the right. There is a brick stack with a rebuilt 20th-century top on the left gable. The cottage has two storeys and includes two windows with three-light wooden casements, with iron in the center. The front door is a plank door from the 19th century. The interior contains the remains of an open fireplace with brick jambs and a doorcase stair located on the rear wall. The layout consists of two units, with a larger room on the left.
