Description

Little Thatch is a detached cottage dating from the mid-18th century. It is constructed of painted rubble stone with a half-hipped thatched roof and a brick stack to the right gable end. The cottage is two storeys high with a two-window front. A central planked door is flanked by a three-light casement window on either side. The first floor has a two-light and a three-light casement window. A contemporary extension, built in a similar style, is attached to the left. A lean-to extension of brick and rubble stone, dating to the 19th century, is attached to the right. The rear of the cottage features a two-light casement window and a flat-roofed 20th-century extension. Inside, there are chamfered beams and a restored open fireplace.
