Description

Rose Cottage is a detached cottage dating from the early 18th century. It features rubble stone walls and a steep thatched roof, with a brick stack located at the west gable. The cottage is 1½ storeys high and has two windows on the south wall, which are two-light wooden casements without glazing bars. To the right of the center, there is a very low plank door framed in oak. On the north wall, the windows include glazing bars. Inside, there is a blocked open fireplace with a bread oven in the right-hand corner, and the ceiling beams are roughly chamfered.
