Description

The Wesleyan Methodist Chapel is a detached chapel built in 1827, as noted on a tablet. It features stone walls that are rendered and painted white, with a slate roof that has stone gable copings and level kneelers. At the east gable, there is a ball finial, while the west gable has a stone bell-cote topped with a ball finial. The chapel is a single-storey rectangular structure with two windows that have semi-circular heads. These windows contain 2-light casements with glazing bars and Y-heads. Above the entrance porch, there are two smaller windows. The entrance is located on the east wall and consists of a two-leaf door with flush-and-recess panels, framed by reeded pilasters from the 19th century. The stone porch features Tuscan columns and an entablature, also from the 19th century.
