Description
This is a row of cottages built in the early 19th century. They feature rubble-stone walls and a thatch roof, with brick chimney stacks located at the left gable, two at the party walls on the ridge, and one at the right gable. The cottages are two storeys high and have a total of ten windows, which are three-light wooden casements with two horizontal glazing bars each, topped with keyed stone lintels. The front doors vary: number 41 has a 20th-century door with one frosted glass light, while numbers 43 and 44 also have 20th-century doors, and number 45 features a 19th-century door.
