Description
This is an early 17th-century attached farmhouse and dairy, possibly incorporating an earlier core. It is constructed of rubble stone and ashlar chalk-block walls, with a thatched roof that is hipped on the left-hand side and gabled on the right. There are brick stacks positioned towards the left-hand end of the ridge, centrally on the ridge, and at the right-hand gable. The building is one-and-a-half storeys high with five windows in total, including those of number 754 on the left-hand end. The ground floor windows have three-light, hollow-chamfered stone mullions with separate labels above, and contain iron casements with horizontal bars. The upper floor features three-light iron casements, mostly in eyebrow dormers, with a single two-light casement at the right-hand end. A doorway is located to the right of the centre, featuring straight-chamfered jambs and a three-centred head, with a plank door set within a wooden frame and weatherboard, dating to the 20th century. A doorway was blocked at the left-hand end with cement fill, also from the 20th century.
