Description

Mill Close is an attached cottage dating from the mid-18th century, with some changes made in the 20th century. The cottage features rubble-stone walls that are rendered and painted, topped with a thatch roof. There are brick stacks at the gable ends, which have been partly rebuilt. The building has two storeys and three windows. The ground floor has canted wooden bays with fixed windows and pivoting upper parts, while the smaller canted bays above have 2-light wooden casements, all of which are from the 20th century. The front door is centrally located, featuring a recess-panelled design with two upper lights and wooden framing, also from the 20th century. A thatch porch canopy is positioned over the door.
