Description

Stone Lane Cottage is an attached cottage that dates from the early 18th century or possibly earlier, with some changes made in the 20th century. The walls are constructed of rubblestone, and it features a thatch roof that is half hipped at the right end. There is a brick chimney stack located at the center of the ridge. The cottage has two storeys and three windows, which are primarily 2-light 20th-century metal casements with diagonal leaded lights. The windows have wooden cills and lintels. The doorway is positioned in the wall at the right end and features a plank-and-martin door that is studded, leading into an attached lobby.
