Description
The Beehive is a detached cottage dating from the 18th century, which has been significantly restored in the 20th century. It features rubblestone walls with dressed stone quoins and a thatched roof that is half hipped to the south and gabled to the east. There is a 20th-century brick stack located at the center of the ridge. The cottage is 1½ storeys high and has two windows on the west wall, which are 20th-century, two-light metal casements with lead lights. The gable end wall has three-light casements. There are two doors: one at the north end of the west wall, which is a glazed plank-and-muntin door from the 20th century, and another in the southeast angle, also a glazed plank-and-muntin door from the 20th century.
