Description

Two semi-detached cottages, Treetops Cottage and Wintersweet Cottage, date from the 18th and 19th centuries, with later alterations. The cottages have rubble stone walls. Treetops Cottage has a thatched roof, while Wintersweet Cottage has a slate roof. Brick stacks are located at the gable ends of the thatched roof. Each cottage has two storeys with two windows each. Treetops Cottage features 2-light wood casement windows with glazing bars, and cambered brick arches above the ground-floor windows. A 20th-century single-pane window is located on the left side of the ground floor. The front door, located centrally, is panelled and glazed and dates to the 20th century. Wintersweet Cottage has 3-light and 2-light wood casement windows with wooden sills. An 18th-century plank door is situated on the right, set within a wooden frame.
