Description
This building is an outbuilding that includes a cartshed with a loft and a cowshed, dating from the 18th century to the 19th century. It is located on sloping ground, with the cowshed positioned at the northern end. The walls are made of colourwashed stone rubble, and the roof is slate with a gabled design.
At the southern end, the cartshed features a wide arched entrance with a wooden lintel, and a flight of steps leads up to a doorway for the loft. The cowshed, which is a single storey, has three bays and includes a queen strut truss, purlins, and thin rafters. The northeastern wall of the cowshed has a centrally located half ledged door, with a window on each side that has glazing bars and opens inwards. The northern end of the structure has a window at the upper level and a doorway to the right below.
