Description
Tan-y-Wal is a one-storey building with an attic, originally featuring two windows and a central doorway, but it has been extended to the left. It has a slate gabled roof with a chimney located towards the original left end. The walls are pebble dashed, and there is a gable above each upper window. The front wall consists of two window bays and a central door bay. The left bay contains a sash window without glazing bars above and a casement window below. There is a gabled porch with a panelled door leading into the house. The right bay features a two-light window above and a casement window below. The left extension has a similar dormer and two casement windows on the ground floor.
Inside, the right-hand ground floor room has wood ceiling joists made of thin scantling.
