Description
The former chapel at Penrhyn Old Hall is constructed from limestone rubble with red sandstone quoins. The west end features a rebuilt doorway with a two-centred arch, above which is an inserted stone relief of the Crucifixion, likely from the 20th century, in a trefoil shape. Above this relief, there is a round window with a scroll moulding that probably dates to the 17th century. To the south, there are two lancet windows, and to the east, there is one lancet window, which are likely original. The north side has two later window insertions, probably from the early 20th century.
