Description
C19. Slate hipped roof with common ridge and eaves. Limestone rubble walls. Radyr stone dressings. Barn at North-west end of six bays with king-post roof. North-east elevation with waggon entry with lean-to slate roof; vertical ventilator slits in two tiers, one set to south and two to north. South-west elevation with much taller waggon entry. Stone internal wall. Southern portion of building has cartshed at ground level possibly inserted into existing barn with entry in South-east gable end wall; entry flanked by piers of dressed Radyr stonel one ventilator in each long wall towards rear of cartshed. First floor of south-east end wall is slate-hung. North-east elevation of this portion of building has an external flight of stone stairs with stone balustrade leading up to segmental headed loft dooreay with voussoir of Radyr stone which is flanked to each side by a small segmental headed louvered window with Radyr stone head.
