Description

The detached cow stall at Cothays Farm, located 7 metres southeast of the farmhouse, dates from the 18th century. It features rubble walls and a hipped thatch roof, with a rectangular plan. The structure has a 20th-century stable door and a small rectangular opening with a wooden shutter. Above this, there is a small square pitch door made of planks. Inside, the stall exhibits collar construction.
