Description
No. 1 St Alban Street is a house with a shop, dating from the early 19th century and raised in the later 19th century. The building is rendered and features a wide-span slate gable roof. It has three storeys and one window, all of which are replacements. The upper level includes a 2-light casement window set in deep reveals above a 2-storey bow window, which has a 4-light polygonal design. The ground floor has a multi-pane 3-light window. To the left, there are two steps leading to a multi-pane glazed door beneath a plain fanlight, which opens into an arched opening with deep reveals. The left gable has one light at the first floor, and there is a large stack on the right gable. The interior has not been inspected. This building is an altered but original part of the terrace in this street.
