Description

No. 31 Maiden Street is a house with a shop, dating from the late 18th century or early 19th century. The building is rendered and has a slate roof. It has two storeys and features two windows: an 8:12:8-pane bow oriel window and a 12-pane sash window in a flush moulded box. The shop front is from the 19th century and includes a panelled and part-glazed door beneath a transom light, with wide plain lights that have thin mullions. There is also a recessed door with a transom light and a one-light return at the right-hand end on a plain gabled return wall. The ridge and gable stacks are rebuilt in brick. The interior has not been inspected.
