Description

No. 18 High Street is a house with a later shop, dating from around 1820. The building is plastered with a slate roof and has a right end stack with a rendered shaft. It stands three storeys tall and features a symmetrical two-window arrangement. The deep projecting eaves are supported by paired brackets and have a moulded cornice and eavesboard. The shop front, which is from the 20th century, includes a central doorway. There are remains of a moulded string at the second-floor level. The first floor has two 8 over 12-pane sash windows, while the second floor has two 16-pane sash windows. The interior was not inspected.
