Description

53 Weston Road is a small house dating from around 1850, located at the end of a row. The exterior is rendered and scribed with a slate roof. The house has two storeys and an attic, featuring a single window on the front. There is a 12-pane sash window with stone cills, and to the right, a 19th-century six-panel moulded door that is partly glazed. At the back, there is a 12 over 12-pane sash window and a small gabled dormer covered with an asbestos cement slate roof. This house is notable for being one of the few dwellings in Weston that has not been significantly altered on the outside. The interior has not been inspected. The building is included for its group value.
