Description
Roby Mill is a small house, likely built in the mid-19th century, which has been altered over time. It features coursed squared sandstone laid in graduated courses and has a stone slate roof. The house has a double-depth, single-fronted plan with two storeys and one window on the front. There is a doorway on the right with a rectangular lintel and a 20th-century panelled door. Each floor has one large square window, both with flush sills and lintels, and 20th-century glazing. The building has a wooden gutter supported by slender iron brackets and gable chimneys. On the left gable, there are two windows at ground level and three above, all smaller than those at the front and with altered glazing. Roby Mill is part of a group of buildings and is included for its group value.
