681, Dorchester Road

No. 681 Dorchester Road is a detached house dating from the early 19th century. It has a rendered exterior and a slate roof, presenting a typical symmetrical villa design. The house is two storeys high with three windows, featuring 12-pane sashes above 16-pane sashes set in plain reveals with stooled stone sills. The original front door is a flush six-panel design, with the top two panels glazed. There are chimney stacks at each end of the building. The left gable has a two-light casement window on the upper floor, while the back wall includes an early two-light casement window at the top right and a mid-height stair sash window with bars. The right gable is plain. The interior has not been inspected. The house is set back from the road and has seen little external alteration.
