Public house. C18, refronted mid/late C19. Stuccoed front with plinth, string, panelled end pilasters and moulded parapet cornice with modillions; steep grouted scantle slate roof with two C18 hipped dormers with probably C18 sidelights with glazing bars and mid/late C19 four-pane hornless sashes to front; brick end stacks. U-shaped plan including rear wings. 2 storeys; nearly symmetrical 3-window front with late C19 horned sashes. 1st floor has nearly central 4-pane sash within moulded architrave flanked by pilastered canted oriels with moulded entablature. Ground floor has wide central carriage doorway with consoles and hood; pair of 4-pane sashes on right and similar sash to far left and 3-panel door, with glazed top panels, on its right, probably in original window opening. INTERIOR not inspected.
