Description
The Rodney Inn is a public house dating from the early 19th century. It features a rendered front and a grouted scantle slate roof, along with a moulded fascia board and a cast-iron ogee gutter. The building has an overall H-shaped plan that includes a rear wing on the left and a parallel rear return. It stands two storeys high and has a regular three-window range. The original windows are hornless sashes with glazing bars, except for a later four-pane sash located to the left of the doorway. The entrance has a pilastered doorway with an entablature supported by brackets beneath a heavy moulded cornice, and it is flanked by a pair of three-panel doors. The interior has not been inspected.
