Description

This is a mid-18th century town house, located in Meneage Street, Helston. The front is stuccoed, featuring a plinth, rusticated quoins, and eared architraves with guttae. The roof is slate, with two wide 20th-century dormers, and brick end stacks. A modillion eaves cornice and cast-iron ogee gutters grace the roofline. The building has a deep plan and a symmetrical 5-window facade. The windows are 20th-century twelve-pane horned sashes. A central doorway, with pilasters, consoles, a moulded architrave, and a six-panel door, completes the facade. The interior remains uninspected.
