Description
15 Meneage Street is a town house with a later shop, dating from the 18th century and refronted in the mid to late 19th century. The building features a stuccoed front with a leaded parapet and a steep half-hipped scantle slate roof, with slate hanging on the visible left-hand side. It has a narrow double-depth plan and stands two storeys plus an attic, with a symmetrical one-window front. The attic includes a mid to late 19th-century four-pane hornless sash dormer above a first-floor canted oriel, which has a moulded cornice and similar sashes. The ground floor features a canted late 19th-century transomed double shop front, with original round-arched return lights, although the mullions have been replaced with plate glass at the front. The ground floor also has a squat entablature with a fascia and moulded cornice. The interior has not been inspected.
