Description

This is a town house with shops, likely dating from the 17th century but significantly remodelled in the mid-19th century. It has a double-depth plan. The front of the building is timber-framed, with the right side stuccoed and the left side clad in slate; the roof is covered in dry slate. The house is three stories high with a regular four-window façade. The windows are mid-19th century twelve-pane hornless sashes. On the ground floor, a deep jetty overhangs a mid-19th century canted shop window with a six-pane hornless sash and two-pane sidelights, as well as moulded cornices and scrolled brackets on the right side. A 20th-century shop front is present on the left. The interior has not been inspected.
