Description
The gazebo at Empacombe Cottage is an early 19th-century structure, likely built of brick and rendered with Roman cement. It has a hexagonal plan and is a single-storey garden house consisting of one room. The six sides of the gazebo feature four windows, a doorway, and a fireplace. The windows and the half-glazed door are designed with nine panes and have marginal glazing with interlace heads. The structure is topped with a castellated parapet that includes a brick course, while the roof is not visible.
Inside, the fireplace wall is panelled and features a marble chimney-piece with a mirror above it, along with cupboards on either side. The interior also includes a coved cornice.
